Refund & Returns Policy

Because we sell food products, returns are handled carefully for hygiene and safety. This policy explains exactly when you can return, replace or refund an order.
1. Products covered by this policy
This policy applies to our entire catalogue. Every item is a pre-packaged dry spice, seasoning blend or kitchen gift kit, so the same hygiene rules apply to all of them: sealed jars can come back, opened jars cannot. Where a kit contains several jars, the whole kit must be returned complete and unopened.

2. Unopened items
Unopened, unused products in their original sealed packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the item price. Contact us first at support@javeasso.shopto start a return. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item was faulty, damaged or incorrect. On international returns, any import duties, taxes or customs charges already paid are set by your local authority and cannot be refunded by us; original outbound shipping is refunded only where the order was faulty, damaged or incorrect.
3. Opened items
For food safety and hygiene reasons, opened jars and kits generally cannot be returned or refunded, except where the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or does not arrive (see below). This does not affect your statutory consumer rights in respect of faulty goods.
4. Damaged, incorrect or undelivered orders
- Damaged in transit: contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damage and we will replace the item or refund it.
- Incorrect item: if you receive the wrong kit, we will arrange the correct item or a refund at no cost to you.
- Not delivered: if tracking shows your order was not delivered within the expected window, contact us and we will investigate with the carrier and reship or refund.
5. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through Stripe, in USD. Refunds usually appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. We refund the item price and, where the whole order is at fault, the original shipping charge.
6. Spice Club subscriptions
- You can skip, pause or cancel future boxes at any time in the Customer Portal.
- A monthly box that has already been dispatched for the current period is not refundable; cancellation stops future boxes.
- Monthly boxes are a service benefit with no credits or stored balance and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- If a subscription box arrives damaged or incorrect, the same replacement/refund terms above apply.
7. How to start a return or refund
Email support@javeasso.shop with your order number and the reason. You can also use our contact form. We aim to resolve every request within one business day.
8. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales and does not affect your statutory rights.
